In case of an ‘emergency’ or when the surgery is closed, you have the options below available to you:

If your problem is an emergency or life threatening, please call 999.

If you require information on symptoms or need medical advice, please call NHS 111.

If you need urgent care, Pallion or Bunny Hill Health Centres are open: 10am-10pm Monday to Friday; 8am-10pm weekends and bank holidays. No appointment is needed.

If you can’t get an appointment with your GP or can’t get there during the day due to work or other commitments you can use the Enhanced Access Service.

Sunderland offers extra appointments seven days a week at your local out of hours site, alternatively it may be possible to arrange an appointment at another site across the city which your practice will arrange.
